we took clues from the opening sequence of the Amelie 2001. Depicting a child full of imagination and energy, but ultimately alone in her activities. In our music video we explored female childhood, and growing up; a child able to be in her own company when young, but it being less socially acceptable as one gets older and has to intergrate into society. The character of our music video is masked to show that you can be anything in your own imagination and to show that she is still the child she once was when she was in her youth having been forced into an adult world. The colours of our music video is saturated as in the intro of Amelie, connoting the colourful and vivid imagination of the character.
