The four main record labels are known as the big four;
Universal Music Group; owning many sub record labels such as;  Universal, Geffen, Motown, Interscope and Island.

Picking a label for our artist has to correspond with the type of music that they perform.
certain labels do only specific genres; for example for our song (big mouth strikes again by the smiths) would not be released by say a metal music label. I decided to research labels specific to indie-pop.
